No guy wants to feel weak or look weak.
That’s why we don’t ask for help.
So when I was feeling down I kept it to myself.
Then the depression got worse.
So I talked to a buddy who got me to a website and some counseling.
Now I’m taking care of business and feeling much better.
I’m still a tough guy, just one who needed a little help.

It takes a tough guy to go ask for help. Find your strength and reach out to those who want to listen.

OK, I admit it, I NEVER ask for directions.
In fact, I don’t ask for help period.
I’m a guy.
But I’ve evolved.
I figured out that if I didn’t get some assistance for my depression I wasn’t going
to be good for anything.

So I got help for the people that love me and depend on me.
I still don’t ask for directions.

You don’t have to go through it alone. Take some time to talk to a professional who will help guide you.

When my marriage ended I wasn’t prepared for the feelings I was having.
I figured I’d pick myself up and get on with the next chapter of my life.
Boy was I wrong.
I started getting really depressed.
My best friend finally sat me down and said he didn’t think I was gonna come out
of it without some professional help.

I got some counseling and learned how to talk about my feelings.
I wish I had done something sooner, but I’m a guy.

Don’t let a break up break you down. Take the steps to take care of yourself for those who care for you.
